Over the years I have seen many clients both in and out of the workplace and overriding message is the ability to forgo attention to nutrition, sleep and exercise to create efficiency within their lives. This makes total sense as surveys have shown that 49% of Brits find it challenging to eat a balanced diet when they’re busy!
But does this really make us more efficient and save time? When the vast majority of evidence links a well rounded and balanced diet to stronger mental focus, memory, energy, mood, weight management, sleep and even prevention of long-term chronic problems, we may ask why we don’t may more attention to our diet. In reality you could know everything there is to know about nutrition yet still not implement change.
My role it to provide the education and tools you need to make pratical, sustainable and positive dietary changes no matter how busy you are. Whether your goals are to improve energy, digestion, immune regulation, hormonal balance or even weight management, accountability and support from a trained individual can help you meet your goals.
In a typical consultation with me, I will assess your present health, health history, family health history and dietary habits. I then will devise a health optimisation plan tailored to you with diet and lifestyle advice to target your health goals. If needed, the health optimisation plan may include supplemental support.
In some cases I may also refer you for a test if I feel it would allow us to gain further information about the health issue we are targeting. I usually liaise and work alongside GP’s or specialists within their fields regarding more complex cases to ensure that you obtain the best outcome as possible.
